I am a passionate piano and vocal instructor and I am committed to guiding and inspiring students of all levels.
With my expertise and encouragement, you'll embark on a transformative musical journey that will last a lifetime.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I started at age 8 with piano lessons and began performing in High School for All-County and All-State Chorus. I then won a trip to Europe with America's Youth In Concert singing in many Cathedrals. After raising a family of 3, I went to college and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Fine Arts degree from Anne Arundel County Community College. From there, I transferred to Catholic University of America and earned a Bachelors degree in Music with a minor in Education. I performed at Carnegie Hall with The Catholic University and at the National Shrine. My recitals were at St. Vincent de Paul in DC and the US Naval Academy Chapel. I was the Organist and Choir Director for Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church in Odenton, MD for 27 years. I have 2 student recitals a year and put together a vocal group to sing at each recital. I've been teaching since 2001. I work with and enjoy teaching children and youth of all ages, but also enjoy teaching adults.
